Index Page symbol

On my index page is this symbol circled in Red it has recently appeared .never seen it before and it appears on a couple of my saved links ..what is it ?? and why is the original symbol not showing most of my other links have there symbols as normal .

Possibly because you may be using the unsecure address for this and other sites.

The corrects address is: https://www.torrevieja.co.uk/index.php

Ensure that "http" has the "s" at the end, i.e "https", which will take you to the secure address.

The symbol you have highlighted in red is where a favicon goes. The symbol you highlighted is displayed by the Chrome browser if there isn't a favicon. Internet Explorer would display the e symbol if there isn't a favicon.

The Torrevieja forum website does not have one. It is usually a very small copy of the website owner's logo. Look at the BBC or Apple websites to see their favicons.
