How easy are they to set up, before i mess it up.

They are not and people tend to try to put too much stuff on you do need to know what you are doing Mike I have just done my own and only put 1 extra App on TvTap for Firestick that's all you need but you have to get the correct one

It will depend on where you are getting the instructions from

I am a little old lady of 69 years, and I managed to set up my Firestick by myself.

Firesticks are great, first thing to do is
Go to settings then my device and go to developer options tick yes
Then go to search bar and type in downloader app it will pop up below
then install it, now you can install apk apps here's a good iptv app
http://tinyurl.com/stbiptvapp just tpye into downloader search bar and install
Go online find tutorials about stbemu app.... get a subscription don't pay more than €40 good to go

Tvtap not reliable quality poor but watch le normally 2 to 3 minutes behind on football if want quality sometimes in life you pay €40 a year not bad less than a euro a week VOD and every t series you have heard of and rock solid connection

Must be something wrong with your signal TVTap is the best I have seen and I have looked at most of ITVP streamers I was using a Chinese IPTV and that had the best quality with no stuttering at all cost 65 us dollars per year but TVTap is far superior time will tell
